How to File a Complaint
We encourage all complaints and content removal requests to be submitted through our contact form:
What to Include When Using the Contact Form
When submitting through our contact form, please be sure to include the following information in your message:
- URL of the content you are reporting (or specific location/identifier on our site)
- Date and time you encountered the reported content
- Detailed description of the issue:
- Why you believe the content violates our policies
- What specific standards it violates
- Any relevant context or evidence
- Have you ever agreed to the distribution of this content? (Please answer Yes or No)
- Any other information that may be helpful for our investigation
If you are not logged in, please also provide your legal name and email address in the form fields or message.
Review Process
Timeline
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 24-48 hours. All complaints will be reviewed and resolved within five business days. For emergency issues involving illegal content, threats, or minors, we prioritize immediate review.
Investigation
Upon receiving a complaint, we will:
- Assess the reported content against our Terms of Service and applicable laws
- Investigate the context and circumstances
- Take appropriate action based on our findings
- Notify you of the outcome and any actions taken
Potential Outcomes
Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may:
- Remove or disable access to the content
- Suspend or terminate user accounts
- Restrict access to certain features
- Issue warnings to users
- Report serious violations to law enforcement
- Take no action if the content does not violate our policies (with explanation)
Appeals Process
If you disagree with our decision regarding a complaint or content removal:
- Submit an appeal to our contact form or legal@heartthrob.ai within 14 days of our decision
- Include "APPEAL" in your message to ensure proper routing
- Provide additional context or evidence supporting your appeal
- Reference your original complaint if available
We will review appeals within five business days and provide a final decision.
Types of Prohibited Content
We do not permit content that:
- Involves minors in any adult or romantic context
- Depicts or promotes non-consensual activity
- Contains illegal material or promotes illegal activity
- Harasses, threatens, or abuses others
- Violates intellectual property rights (see our Terms for DMCA procedures)
- Attempts to bypass our safety systems or content filters
- Violates any other provision of our Terms of Service
Cooperation
We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations, valid legal processes and court orders, and our payment processor regarding compliance matters. Serious violations, especially those involving illegal content or harm, may be reported to appropriate authorities.
Record Keeping
We maintain records of all complaints and our responses for legal and safety purposes. All complaints are logged and tracked to ensure timely resolution.
